Roll Up Treat Box

 

Hello stampers, 
I have had so much fun making these roll up treat boxes. I got this idea from Sam Calcott from the Uk check out here video to see how she made hers. I changed up the measurements to work with are 8 1/2 x 11 card stock. I have done a step by step video. 3D Blog Hop Treat Box

 



For this months blog hope we had to make a 3D Item. So i came up with this little treat box. When it comes to 3D it is easier to do a video, then to try and write out step by step. So here you go. Instructions:
  • 6 x 8 card stock  
  • Score on the 8" side 2 and 6
  • Score on the 6" side 2 and 4
  • Cut (2) 2 x 4 1/4 in same color card stock as above using the scalloped tag topper punch. Punch the top of one end on both piece of card stock 
  • Using a hand punch to make the hole of the tag topper punch a little bigger to fit the straw through. 
  • Cut (2) 1 3/4 x 3 3/4 DSP
  • Cut (2) 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 DSP 
  • Cut (1) 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 whisper white for stamping
  • add the DSP around the box 
  • stamp image From the Have a Hoot stamp set. color with blends add to front of box. 
  • make a small tag, stamp greeting , add the straw  with ribbon 1x2 tag

Pop Box Card



I have got a fun card today, I made this card for my husband for fathers. It was so much fun to see him open it up. I am not sure of the real name of this card. I am calling it pop box card. It has been around for a few years but i am just seeing it. I did a step by step video on how i made this cards.  supplies and measurements listed below. Cube 1 :  cut a 5 x 6  card stock
  • 5" side  score at 1/2, 2 1/2, 4 1/2
  • 6" side score at 2 and 4
  • cut as shown in video
  • DSP 1 7/8 x 17/8 need 4 
Cube 2 : cut a  4 1/2 x 6 1/2 card stock
  • 4 1/2 " side  score at 1/2  and 2 1/2
  • 6 1/2 " side score at 1/2 , 2 1/2, and 4 1/2
  • cut as shown in video
  • DSP 1 7/8 x 1 7/8 need 4
Box : 5 1/4 x 7 1/4 card stock 
  • 5 1/4 side score at 3/4, 1 1/2 , 3 3/4, and 6 1/2
  • 7 1/4 side score at 3/4, 1 1/2, 5 3/4, and 6 1/2
  • cut as shown in video
  • DSP 2 1/8 x 4 1/8 need one
Wrap to Box:  4 1/4 x 7 1/8 card stock
  • 7 1/8 side score at 7/8 , 1 3/4, 4 , and 4 7/8
  • DSP  2 1/8 x 4 1/8 need 1 and 3/4 x 4 1/8 need 2
