A Month of Sale-A-Bration Wonderful World

Blog Hop More to Sale A Brate!

Welcome Stampers to our Creative Cardiology Team August 2022 Blog Hop! This month we're showcasing projects created with Items for the July to August 2022 Sale-A-Bration catalog or the new add on items listed below.. I decided to use the new add on item Aspen Tree Dies Free with a $100.00 purchase. You can find the stamp set that goes with these dies on page 76 called Perched in a Tree . I also used stamp set Best Witches and the Banner year stamp set that has retired but i will share a alternate set for you to use in the supplies list below.

I have the details of how I put this card together.

Card Details:

Base: Basic Black 8 1/2 x 5 12 scored 4 1/4

Layer1: Crushed Curry 5 1/4 x 4

Layer 2: DSP Celebrate Everything 5 x 3 3/4

Layer 3: Basic Black 5 1/8 x 3 7/8

Layer 4: Basic White 5 1/2 x 3

Take Layer 1 and add it to the Base. Then add layer 2 on to Layer 1. Next Take the Aspen Tree Dies and Die cut out with Layer 3. Next you are going to take layer 4 and stamp the Witch from the Best Witches stamp set. Color it with Blends listed in the supplies list below. I also stamp the bats and greeting with the Banner Year stamp that is retired. But you can use the Scary Cute Bundle in the Holiday Catalog on page 56. Now you have to fussy cut out the Witch and tuck it behind some of the trees as seen in photo. Then place it down on to Layer 2. add the bats and Greeting.

Welcome Stampers, I thought with this been the last month for SAB. I would share a card every Saturday featuring a SAB Item. For my Third card I am showcasing a projects to do with The Stylish Sketches stamp set. For this card i made a side step fun fold card. I have included template below on how to make the side step card. I also used the Mountain Air stamp set and dies with my card. Card Details

Base Pacific Point 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 use template above to cut and score

Layer 1 DSP Design A Daydream 4 1/8 x 1 7/8 , (2) 7/8 x 3 1/2 and 1 5/8 x 3 1/2

Layer 2 - 3 inch circle die

Layer 3 Scraps of Old Olive, and White for the die cutting

Once you have the base cut and score as seen in template above. Then cut all the DSP in layer 1 and add to base as seen in photo. Stamp fox in memento black ink on scrap white and use a masking paper to cover over the fox. Now you can stamp the mountains with Balmy Blue ink right of the fox. I used Old Olive light blend to color the grass and the light Medium Deep natural blends to color the fox. For the Mountains on the right side I stamped them in Night of Navy ink. I stamped the Trees on the right in Old Olive ink. I used a 3inch circle die to cut out the image.

Card Details

Base White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score at 4 1/4

Layer 1 Soft Succulent 5 1/4 x 4

Layer 2 DSP LOVE OF RINGS 3 1/2 x 4 3/4

Layer 3 White 3 3/4 x 5

Layer 4 Scraps of soft suede, crumb cake, and soft succulent for the die cutting.

This card is not very hard to do. Take layer 3 and start tearing back the paper in the middle as fair down as you would like. I cut off some of the bulk and rolled up the rest. To keep it in place I use glue dots. Now add Layer 2 line it right up with the edge of layer 3 the end you teared back. Using the dies from the Ringed with Nature Bundle and the scraps in layer 4 cut them out and add a bow with linen thread. See photo for more details.
