Basket of Blooms



Hello Stampers , 
This week i am going to be sharing cards that uses the Basket of Blooms stamp set on Page 48 #153305 of the catalog. I just love this set. It a fun set for masking. For this card i did a little different kind of a fold.To make this fold you have to have a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  card stock scored at 4 1/4.   On the 4 1/4 scored mark starting at the top you went to cut down to the 2 3/4 and then right of to end. See photo below.

Paper size
Garden Green 8 1/2 x 5 1/2,  3 3/8  x 2 1/8 and 3 3/8  x 5/8
DSP Forever Greeny DSP 4 1/8 x 2 5/8
Whisper White 3 1/4 x 2 , 1/2 x 3 1/4 and 4 x 5 1/4

When using the Embossing folder  ONLY  embossed  3" down

Junes Online workshop class


Hello Stampers, 
I am sorry this post is late. I have had a very crazy week. So i hope you will enjoy a Saturdays post.
 I also went to think everyone that did the blog hop. 
I hope you enjoyed the hop and will come back next month to see what we have in store for you.
With ever thing going on in the world these days.
 I have been doing online workshops. The photo above is from are June class. 
We used the Birds and Branch bundle.  I had the live workshop on Friday. 
I hope to have the video edited and posted on youtube later this week.

Flower for Every Season Blog Hop


 
Hello Stampers, To day i come to you with a card i made for are blog hop. Are Team Creative Card-ioology is doing a monthly blog hop. What that is in a nutshell we make a card with a theme, color, or stamp set. Then we  share are team members blog links below so you can go and see what they have made. Details:
  •  I took the celebrate sunflower stamp set and stamped out 2 of the smaller sunflowers. using momento block ink on whisper white. Then colored them in with  just jade for leaves, bumble bee for flowers, crumb cake  and soft suede for center. 
  • I then stamped the buffalo check stamp set on a 4 x 5 1/4 crumb cake with early espresso. Then i ripped the paper in half at a angle.
  • Next i die cutted out the flowers and 2 each of the leaves in Just Jade.
  • Now you will start to layer your card together, use the base card very vanilla 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4, add the Bumble Bee 4 x 5 1/4 card stock on top of that, add the stamped buffalo check on the bottom part of the card, Stamp your greeting to the right side of card as shown in photo, then add your 4 leaves, add dimensionls to back of flowers and add them to card.

Pop Box Card



I have got a fun card today, I made this card for my husband for fathers. It was so much fun to see him open it up. I am not sure of the real name of this card. I am calling it pop box card. It has been around for a few years but i am just seeing it. I did a step by step video on how i made this cards.  supplies and measurements listed below. Cube 1 :  cut a 5 x 6  card stock
  • 5" side  score at 1/2, 2 1/2, 4 1/2
  • 6" side score at 2 and 4
  • cut as shown in video
  • DSP 1 7/8 x 17/8 need 4 
Cube 2 : cut a  4 1/2 x 6 1/2 card stock
  • 4 1/2 " side  score at 1/2  and 2 1/2
  • 6 1/2 " side score at 1/2 , 2 1/2, and 4 1/2
  • cut as shown in video
  • DSP 1 7/8 x 1 7/8 need 4
Box : 5 1/4 x 7 1/4 card stock 
  • 5 1/4 side score at 3/4, 1 1/2 , 3 3/4, and 6 1/2
  • 7 1/4 side score at 3/4, 1 1/2, 5 3/4, and 6 1/2
  • cut as shown in video
  • DSP 2 1/8 x 4 1/8 need one
Wrap to Box:  4 1/4 x 7 1/8 card stock
  • 7 1/8 side score at 7/8 , 1 3/4, 4 , and 4 7/8
  • DSP  2 1/8 x 4 1/8 need 1 and 3/4 x 4 1/8 need 2

Field Journal



As you can see i have just been having fun with tailored tag punch. This card uses the Field Journal Stamp set. This little chipmunk is so cute ! It is what sold me on this set. I tried to color him like the ones i see around my house. I know we enjoy seen them run around the yard. I always tell them to run and hide be for the cat get you. Base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored 4 1/4, next layer is 5 1/4 x 4
