Creative Card-iology Team Blog Hop Returning Colors

 

Welcome Stampers to our Creative Cardiology Team Mays 2023 Blog Hop! For this month we're showcasing projects to do with  retuning colors.There was a few returning colors and it was very hard for me to pick. I decided on the color Lost Lagoon.  I was so happy to see this color return along with the others Pretty Peacock, Blueberry Bushel, Misty Moonlight, Fresh Freesia and Berry Burst. What was your favorite returning color? All of these color are  available to order in are new catalog . I also used the Dainty Delight bundle on this card. I am so glad this stamp set got carried over to the new catalog. I hope you have been enjoying your self flipping throw the new catalog and making a wish list. Base : Lost Lagoon 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored 4 1/4

Layer 1: DSP 5 1/4 x 4 

Layer 2: Daffodil Delight 3 1/2 x 4 3/4

Layer 3: Very Vanilla 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 

Layer 4: Lost Lagoon 2 1/4 x 5 1/2 

Layer 5: Very Vanilla 1 1/4 x 3 1/4 for greeting 

1. Add layer 1 to the Base with adhesive of choice.
2. Using the stitched Rectangle Dies. cut out the rectangles using Layer 2 and 3 cardstock. 
3. Stamp the image in the photo from the Dainty Delight bundle on to the Layer 3 with Smoky Slate ink. Color with blends. Blends i used Lost Lagoon (L/D), Daffodil Delight (L/D), Lemon Lolly (L/D), Bubble Bath (L/D) 
4. Die cut out the leaf using the dies for the Dainty Delight bundle with layer 4 lost lagoon, see photo. 
5. Add layer 2 Daffodil Delights to center of card with dimensionals 
6. Add layer 3 Very Vanilla (your stamped image) to the top of last step with dimensionals. 
7. Add your leaf to card with liquid glue. you do have to cut leaf in half. see photo.
8. Stamp your Greeting on to layer 5 with Smoky Slate ink. Then fussy cut around and add to card with liquid glue. see photo.
9. Add 3 pearls and you are done.
